Some Reasons To Love Wrestling

wrestling

Wrestling is not just about picking up your opponent’s body and slamming him onto the ground. It’s also not just about your opponent picking you up and slamming you onto the ground. It’s about how it should be done under a real situation like when a person is slammed down on the ground due to him being a troublemaker. It’s also about how it can be done under a real situation like when you are slammed down on the ground due to being a troublemaker.

Then again, there today’s World Wresting Entertainment – a perfect epitome of how wrestling can be actually be enjoyed by people from all walks of life.

That being said, here are some reasons to love wrestling:

It teaches us to take it easy.

Contrary to popular belief, wrestling is not all that harsh. You see, it teaches us to take it easy when we face a lot of harshness in the real world. You also see, it teaches us to hold it back when we face a lot of roughness in the real world. Because let’s face it. No one would ever want to be slammed down that harshly in real life. No one would also ever want to be left injured that roughly in real life.

It teaches us to just have fun.

Contrary to popular belied as well, wrestling is not all that raging. You see, it teaches us to just have fun even when face a lot of cruelty in the real world. You also see, it teaches us to just smile broadly even when we face a lot of criticisms in the real world. Because let’s face it. No one would ever want to be laughed at that cruelly in real life. No one would ever want to be pointed at that critically in real life.

Keeping Yourself Fit By Wrestling

wrestling

Let’s face it.

Wrestling is one sport that most people enjoy watching, but also one sport that most people dread playing. For them, this sport will only cause nothing but pain for the player and nothing but agony for the player who loses a match.

But you know what?

Wrestling doesn’t have to cause nothing but pain for the player. Wrestling also doesn’t have to cause nothing but agony for the player who loses a match.

You see, wrestling is considered a sport for a reason.

Because just like any sports out there, wrestling is all about:

Defense, Specifically On The Ground

Have you ever noticed? Unlike martial arts like Jujitsu and Muay Thai, where players are known to have thin but conditioned bodies, wrestling is the kind of sport where players are known to have bulky yet conditioned bodies – such as for those who play sumo wrestling, as well as for those who play entertainment wrestling.

Regardless of their sizes however, they are still pretty much healthier than most people in the world. And that’s because wrestling is done for players to improve their ground defense, as well as their body’s strength and flexibility, by making sure that their bodies are bulked up enough and cannot be easily knocked down – just like when you keep yourself fit, even.

Indeed, wrestling is enjoyable to watch. And indeed, wrestling is enjoyable to play. If you train hard so you can be bulked up enough and work hard so you cannot be easily knocked down, you should also be fine in your career as a wrestler –  just like someone keeping himself fit, even.

What do you think about keeping yourself fit by wrestling?

Is it a yay or a nay? Why or why not?

Wresting can be confusing for the uninitiated. For professional wrestling fans, WWE may be the first thing that comes to mind. Amateur wrestling enthusiasts, on the other hand, talking about Greco-Roman and Freestyle wrestling may be the norm. From Turkey’s oil wrestling to Japan’s sumo, there are many interesting and exciting matches that await the curious and wrestling enthusiasts alike. Making that leap from a sedentary to a fairly active lifestyle may seem daunting, especially when proper nutrition comes in. Taking up a new hobby like wrestling requires nourishment that supports the physical demands of the sport. Getting fit enough to wrestle for fun does not have to mean eating like the top amateur or professional wrestling athletes. But building healthy eating habits would certainly help in the long run – in wrestling or other sports and in everyday life. Here are some of the many ways to eat healthy and delicious foods.

1. Cut back on fried foods. Some people pay more attention on taste than the method of cooking. And most times, pan fried or deep fried foods become part of everyday meals. There is something about fried foods that may be hard to resist. But too much of them is unhealthy. Cutting back on anything fried is a great way to improve your diet. Substitute your favorite fried meals with baked or grilled dishes.

2. Know your herbs and spices. One of the easy ways to eat healthy is through making use of fresh spices and herbs rather than powdered season ing loaded with additives. Fresh spices and herbs are obviously more natural and this gives them a big plus. They also have more powerful flavors as compared to powdered varieties that can be bought in stores.

3. Get the healthier options. Many of us love to treat ourselves to a serving of potato salad or macaroni and cheese but what we do not realize is we are causing doing damage to our body every time we do so. It helps much to replace potato salad or macaroni and cheese with yummy green salads that can be topped with cheeses or dressings to cut down on the calories.

4. Opt for complex carbohydrates. Another way of how to eat healthy is through replacing simple carbohydrates with complex carbohydrates. Cakes, white breads, and white rice lack the nutritional value we need. We can replace them with complex carbohydrates like legumes, whole grains, and sweet potatoes. You can scour through the pages of your recipe books to turn these healthy carbohydrates into an explosion of flavors.

5. Choose lean meat. Eat meat in moderation and choose the leaner cuts. Rather than grilling hotdogs and burgers on weekends, indulge in nice, lean and juicy steaks. You can top these with baked potatoes and you already have a healthy and at the same time, delicious meal.
